Students will be able to state formal definitions of discovery learning and the inquiry process and describe the implications of the definitions for their teaching. Students will be able to describe the steps in the learning cycle and give an example of how a teacher might implement each. The students will be able to list the inquiry process skills and give examples of how these skills are used by children progressing through the learning cycle.
