Students will be able to list the characteristics of appropriate cooperative learning, questioning techniques, active listening training, teacher demonstrations and science textbooks. Students will learn to use a variety of observational tools called Quickchecks to assess their teaching and the teaching they may observe. Students will be able to give examples of how they could implement the appropriate use of cooperative learning, questioning techniques, wait-time techniques, active listening training, teacher demonstrations and science textbooks in their classroom.
