Students will be able to identify ways in which science experiences can be made more responsive to the needs of children from diverse cultural backgrounds, children with special needs, and children with special gifts and talents. Students will learn how the potential inequity of the "digital divide" can affect children's access to technology and impact their success in school and beyond.
