Explain why a simple randomized design is a between-participants design and how it is similar to and different from the posttest-only research design
|
The simple randomized design is a between-participants design because different people participate in the different treatment groups. It is similar to the posttest-only design in that it is a between-participants design and that it includes only a posttest on the dependent variable. It is different from the posttest-only design in that it includes more than two comparison groups.
