Answers to Study Questions
9.6 What is a factorial design and why would you want to use this design instead a simple randomized design?

A factorial design is a between-participants design that includes more than one independent variable. This design has the advantage over the simple randomized design in that you can test the effect of more than one independent variable and the interactive effect of the various independent variables.
