By the end of this chapter, students will be able to:

2. Design a career intervention program for clients who are working poor.

3. Choose the most appropriate resume style for use with clients who are working poor.

4. Assist working poor clients to achieve their goal of long-term employment and self-sufficiency.

5. Identify ways in which human service professionals can advocate for the working poor.
