By the end of this chapter, students will be able to:

1. Analyze the barriers to career success for displaced/dislocated workers.

2. Design a career intervention program for displaced/dislocated workers.

3. Choose the most appropriate resume style for use with displaced/dislocated workers.

4. Assist displaced/dislocated workers in achieving their goal of long-term employment and self-sufficiency.

5. Identify ways in which human service professionals can advocate for displaced/dislocated workers.
