North Central Regional Educational Laboratory (NCREL) is one of 10 regional educational laboratories funded by the U.S. Department of Education. The Adolescent Literature section of this comprehensive website provides a collection of resources, tools, and information on adolescent literacy. A staff of 125 reviewers including authors, librarians, teachers, and children’s literature specialists read and critically review more than 4,000 books annually.
