Chapter 7, Assessing Learning and Academic Achievement in ESL Students for Instructional and Accountability Purposes, will enable ESL and all teachers to conduct assessments of learning, development, and academic achievement in ESL classrooms in a valid and reliable manner, to fulfill instructional and accountability purposes of the Standards movement.
