Chapter Resources provide resources that are typically included in an Instructors Resource Manual. Each chapter includes the following. Many of these files are downloadable so you can customize them to meet your specific needs.
On The Web! Activities links you to the Internet-based activities noted in the margins of each chapter. These activities can also be accessed from the Student Companion website. You may wish to review each activity to determine which you feel most appropriate to assign.
Projects for Portfolios in Educational Technology provides you with teaching ideas, rubrics, and project ideas that may be of help in designing a project-based educational technology course that uses portfolio assessment. This is a comprehensive collection of field-tested materials to help you develop your course. Many components are downloadable for customization to your needs.
In the Field! offers a selection of field experience activities including an observation log, interviews, reflections, and technology hands-on activities. For faculty including a field component in their educational technology course, these downloadable and customizable activities can provide foundation experiences.
Content Connections provides students with a collection of content-specific articles and innovative applications of technology. With this array of annotated links, students can easily explore technology integration in the content are and at the grade level of their choice. Content areas covered include Math, Science, Social Science, Language Arts, Early Childhood, and Special Education.
Chapter Concept Maps are a student website resource that helps students understand the interrelationships of the various topics presented in each chapter. PBL Solutions supplies faculty with key evaluation points for each of the problem based learning scenarios included in the text. These suggested evaluation topics offer guidance in the assessment of the solutions developed by students as resolution to these PBLs.
Links of Interest offers a moderated list of useful links for educational technology faculty. Browse for useful websites and submit your personal favorites for inclusion.
