The Internet is now a part of everyone’s life. Whether you use it regularly or simply notice all of the .com advertisement, it is pervasive in our world. For such a dominant force, it happened very quickly. You may wonder where did it come from and how did it get to be so important? The Internet Society has a web site dedicated to just that question.
Activity:
Go to their Web site at http://www.isoc.org/internet/history/ and select one of their links to learn more about the evolution of the Internet. Create a timeline marking the key points in its development.
