On the Web! Activities |
|
Whether you are preparing your lesson plans or looking for a little something extra to add to a lecture, the Internet offers you an abundance of academic resources. You can find drawings or photographs that add a visual dimension to instruction or you can find audio clips to bring a famous speech to life or meet the needs of auditory learners. You can also find encyclopedias, dictionaries, and even a current atlas. And, of course, any topic for which you feel you need greater depth before lecturing can be easily researched on the Web.
Activity:
Select a site from the list below or find others of your own choosing. Review two academic resources of interest to you in the content area of your choice to share with your class. For each site, list the URL and the resources they offer teachers.
