Case to Consider

Pierre is a teacher/mentor at Vocational Village High School, a "magnet" school devoted to preparing students for the world of work. Vocational Village is the only high school in the district where students can enroll in the school at any time of the school year (unlike the other schools, where students can enroll only at the beginning of fall semester or spring semester).

Pierre was addressing a PTA meeting about the Vocational Village curriculum when a member of the audience asked him what his approach to teaching was. He replied that he used a "constructivist" approach.
