During your schooling, you participated in many lesson experiences. You may have examined lesson plans in textbooks, the ERIC (Educational Resources Information Center) file, and Internet sources. Perhaps you have written lesson plans. Because of your experiences, you are well aware of the types of activities that teachers and students do during a lesson. List at least 10 tasks or activities that are included in a lesson plan.
Categorize the activities you listed into (1) those done by the teacher, (2) those done by the student, and (3) those done by both the teacher and student. During a lesson, what are some differences in the behaviors of teachers from those of students? What accounts for these differences?
