Do a Web search to find one or two professional organizations that represent people in your discipline or major. Use the criteria on page 48 to analyze the key features of community style in that discipline. Use this information to help develop a sense of the specific style of your academic community. Compile a list of specific styles and strategies that are commonly used in the discipline.
