	In the article "For the Muslim Prom Queen, There Are No Kings Allowed," the father of the young woman who organizes the Muslim prom, Mr. Haque, describes a prom as a rite of passage. Fastwrite in your journal or in the space below about the ways a prom is a rite of passage-what does that mean? What are high school students passing from and to?
