Overview

Chapter 13 is devoted to demystifying the principles of styles. While thick books have been written on the elements of good writing, the best way to learn to write is just to get started, without worrying too much about developing your style (in other words, don’t force it). This chapter leads us through topics such as: choosing the right words; constructing successful sentences and coherent paragraphs; learning to write emphatically; and writing with effective punctuation.
