Despite the turmoil and seeming legislative success of the 1960s, what issues still remained unresolved? Can the pursuit of gay rights be separated from other liberation and equal rights movements? How has America lived up to the ideas of the Declaration of Independence? How similar are the issues in these documents to those in the first question for Chapter 5?
