Sentence Practice 2

Decide whether each indefinite pronoun should take a singular pronoun or a plural pronoun.

1 .       One of the Gibson brothers at school accidentally left (his/their) locker unlocked. 



2 .       Not too long afterward, one of his sisters noticed the locker was unlocked, and (she/they) opened the door so that the contents were in full view. 



3 .       All of the students who walked by the locker took (his or her/their) time inspecting the contents. 



4 .       Someone said (she/they) saw a poster of Buffy the Vampire Slayer on the inside of the door. 



5 .       Anyone who makes the mistake of leaving (his or her/their locker) unlocked isn't likely to do it again.
