A site that provides information, news, events, and other resources regarding legislative concerns for teachers of writing at all levels of schooling.
Writing Resources for Faculty and TAs
A site at the University of Toronto. For faculty across the curriculum, this site provides information on designing assignments, commenting on and evaluating writing, and a helpful list of further resources.
Writing Resources for Instructors and Students
Purdue Online Writing Lab
An online writing lab that includes handouts for teachers and students indexed at the URL given, this site also includes workshops and PowerPoints for teachers and links to many other OWLs.
Guide to Grammar and Writing
This site offers handouts on writing topics at the word and sentence level, paragraph level, and essay and research paper level, and it offers more than 170 computer-graded grammar quizzes.
Resources for Teaching and Learning Online
Kairos: A Journal for Teachers of Writing in Webbed Environments
A journal for instructors who wish to have their students write hypertext. Current and archived articles are available for free.
Project Gutenberg
The mission of Project Gutenberg is to make literary texts and reference works available to the public via the Internet. Public domain e-texts are available via FTP sites and Web sites.
The Learning Record Online
The Learning Record Online shares resources to promote computer-enhanced literacy development. The Learning Record was designed to help track students writing achievement based on several criteria, including interviews and observations over time.
