In the following paragraph, determine if the numbered sentences are run-on sentences or not.

Nuclear energy, with all its problems, seems to be here to stay. People have a right to know how dangerous it is. The industry, feeling besieged, is engaging in a public relations campaign. (1)Nuclear power is the cleaner of the two primary power sources, nuclear and fossil fuel. (2)Generating wind and solar power is a dream of some researchers many people would refuse to pay the costs involved with solar power. (3)Researchers are constantly trying to solve energy problems, nobody knows what will be the energy source of the future.
