You belong to a student association called the Future Medical Professionals Society. Your group has the opportunity to bring Dr. Donald Raimes, an expert on weight loss surgery, to speak on campus. However, you need additional funds to help pay for his speaking fee, airfare, and lodging expenses.

The Office of Student Affairs at your school, Larchmont University, has a Professional Speakers Fund which awards several small grants (up to $5000) each year to groups like yours. You, as the Vice President of the Future Medical Professionals Society, have been asked to write a letter of application to the fund administrators, requesting money to help pay for Dr. Raimes' visit.

The files below contain information and visuals that you may use in your letter.
