To the officers of the Future Medical Professionals Society
I’d like to express my wholehearted support for your efforts to bring Dr. Donald Raimes to campus. Dr. Raimes’ authority on weight loss surgery makes him an ideal speaker for our students here in the School of Nursing. I can guarantee that most, if not all, of the students in our N378 course, Ethics of Healthcare, would attend his lecture. It would be an invaluable addition to the material we have covered in class.
Moreover, I have had an opportunity to hear Dr. Raimes speak before, at a meeting of Nursing Educators. He was a wonderful and engaging speaker, and graciously responded to many questions from the audience. I can see his visit being a major event for all students at Larchmont, not just the pre-med and nursing majors.
Please contact me if there is anything I can do to facilitate Dr. Raimes’s visit in any way.
