Writing and Researching Worksheets

Writing and Researching Worksheets are designed to help you focus on particular stages of the writing, design, and research process. Each Worksheet asks you to respond to a short series of questions about the part of the writing process you are engaged in. For example, Worksheet 1 helps you analyze the rhetorical situation for your writing, and Worksheet 2 helps you decide which aspects of your project will be best represented in words and which in images. The final three worksheets—24, 25, and 26—are forms that you can print out and take to the library with you. You can use them to record the publishing information you will need in order to assemble an accurate Works Cited page for your research paper. Scan the list of Worksheets so you will know what help is available to you at each stage of your project.
