Paragraph Practice 1

In the following questions decide whether the word should or should not be capitalized.

Mattresses were once a sleeper's worst nightmare: __1__ (They/they) were stuffed with leaves, straw, and pine needles that mildewed, rotted, and attracted bugs. Many accounts from the Middle Ages tell of rats and mice nesting in mattresses. Numerous attempts were made to construct a better mattress: __2__ (One/one) that would be both comfortable and critter-free. An early attempt was the French inflatable air mattress ( __3__ (Developed/developed) in the late 1400s). However, this was abandoned because it cracked and inflated too easily.
