Paragraph Practice 1

In the following paragraph, determine if quotations are used correctly in the numbered sentences.

(1)According to a sleep specialist, "Interns, truck drivers, and other workers on long shifts often hear their bodies telling them 'I need a nap' even though they are aware of the need to stay awake." (2) One night watchman said, "Sometimes I take a nap, thinking "Just a few minutes," and the next thing I know, the sun's coming up." (3) A recent study claimed that "Almost everyone experiences sleepiness during the afternoon because our internal clocks are saying, 'It's time to nap and get out of the sun's strongest rays.'"
