Introduction

Publishing on the Web requires doing a little legwork at the beginning, but once you get started, you'll find creating a Web page about as easy as word processing. This tutorial will walk you through the process of planning and building your own Web site.

This tutorial shows you how to create a Web site using sample pages created in Netscape Composer. You may have access to Microsoft FrontPage or a similar editing program; the basic principles illustrated here are the same regardless of which software you are using. When you become more proficient in the basics, you may want to move up to an advanced editor such as Macromedia Dreamweaver or Adobe GoLive.
