Creating a Web Site: A Tutorial |

Fewer and fewer people now start by writing HTML when they compose a Web page, but knowing how HTML works enables you to make better use of the tools available on an editor and to troubleshoot if the editor doesn't produce exactly what you want.
In the early days of the Web, most people learned HTML by studying the HTML code on existing Web sites. Anyone can do this by using the Page Source command on the View menu.
