Objective
To outline the main idea and supporting details of a paragraph accurately.

     Death and Afterlife. Literature, drama, film, music, and religion have all promoted the idea that life continues beyond the grave. For some the next life is literally a place where they retain their earthly identities and are reunited with loved ones who still look and sound as they did. For others immortality means living on in the memories of those who remain. For artists it might mean achieving eternal life through their works. One argument against such a belief is that it prevents us from accomplishing all we might during this one chance given to us. Another is that belief in an afterlife may be simply a weak excuse to minimize our failures.
