      C. Read the following paragraph. Answer the question that follows.

1The ancient Greeks believed that Delphi was the point where earth intersected with divine eternity. 2Kings, dignitaries, and pilgrims journeyed to its sacred grounds to seek advice from the gods through the Oracle. 3Located 180 km from Athens, Greece, the remaining ruins still speak of the grandeur of ancient Greece. 4Isolated in a wilderness of mountains and valleys, Delphi is a massive sanctuary. 5On the southwest side sits a complex of ruins and artifacts including the Temple of Apollo, the son of the great god Zeus, surrounded by treasuries and monuments. 6Close by are three soaring arches that stand as magnificent skeletons of the Oracle where the priestess Pythia delivered her edicts from the gods. 7An amphitheater carved out of the northwestern section of the sanctuary still stands as evidence of the cultural importance of theater in Greek culture. 8Further up the slope of the cliff sits the massive Stadium used for chariot races. 9And further west are the Gymnasium and Palaistra that were used for the training of athletes. 10Delphi was a holy place that honored the body, intellect, and soul of humanity.

10. What is the main thought pattern in the paragraph?
