Objective
To use supporting details to determine an implied main idea.

arrow.gifStep 2: Compare the answers to Step 1 you wrote in your Lab Manual to these conclusions, which are drawn from the details in your book.

1. It must be snowing.
2. As a driver, you would expect to encounter rain.
3. It is probably the day after Halloween.
4. Since there is only one week left in the semester, David will probably need to repeat the course.
5. The weather forecaster will probably predict snow.
