  • Jet lag occurs when travelers fly to another time zone and experience fatigue, disorientation, headaches, and other ailments.
  • One way to avoid jet lag is to use earphones to listen to music.
  • Sleeping with earplugs to block out noise decreases the chances of getting jet lag.
  • Some people suggest taking Vitamin B12 for two weeks or extra vitamin C or eating bananas or drinking orange juice to replenish potassium and increase energy levels

  • Benjamin Franklin invented bifocals, the Franklin stove, and a stepladder that converts into a table.
  • In his community of Philadelphia, Franklin formed the first volunteer firefighting unit, organized the town watch, and helped form what eventually would become the University of Pennsylvania.
