The Writing Center at Colorado State University also has an excellent site on the writing process. The main Writing Guide page allows you to choose different reading and writing topics.

If you’re interested in the writing process, you can click on that topic and you’ll go to another page with several more subtopics listed on a scrollable menu on the left side of the page.

If you’re particularly interested in topic invention, you can click on "Working with Topics." The menu on the left side stays will change but will remain the same in the Topics section, so you can easily navigate through other topics without having to use the BACK button.
