HELP: How do I use the search function to revise?

1. Activate your word processor's SEARCH function. (Note: It may be called EDIT/REPLACE.) To do this, go to EDIT on the menu bar.

2. Instruct the computer to search your documents for a troublesome word, phrase or punctuation mark. The following example shows how to search for a contraction.

3. As the computer moves to each case of the word, phrase, or punctuation mark in succession, you can decide whether to change it or not.

4. Revise any other troublesome words, phrases, or punctuation marks by initiating further searches.
