6.1 (p.114) Writing paragraphs from start to finish.

Writing Paragraphs is an outstanding site from the University of Ottawa Writing Centre; it teaches you about paragraphs from start to finish-from outlining an essay to writing unified and coherent paragraphs.
These topics are laid out in the order that mirrors the writing process. We recommend, therefore, that you work through this site in that same order. Although every page has much to offer, the one on "Dividing your Argument" is especially innovative and interesting. It opens to this screen:
 

From this list of sentences it shows you how to use topic sentences and sentence-combining to create two coherent paragraphs with a logical division between them.

The site also has two good review exercises.
