In order to be an effective researcher you need to be aware of how to do electronic searches. The UC Berkeley Teaching Library offers current information on electronic searching.
This site offers instructions, tours, guides, and project summaries. The Library Guide, pictured below, which is perhaps the most useful section on this site, offers links to research guides developed by librarians to help you use a variety of print and electronic resources, such as databases, catalogues, and subject guides.
