Citing an entire Web site (p. 352)

Many times it is appropriate to reference an entire Internet Web site, such as a scholarly project or an information database. The following image illustrates how to find the information for the citation that follows it:

The citation itself should look like this:

Victoriana Online. Ed. Sylvania Dye. 1996-2002. 12 Jan. 2002
          <http://www.victorianaonline.com>

In this case, the name of the site, the editor, publication dates, and URL are available on the very first page of the site. Some sites may require you to go to several different pages to get all the required information.
