6.5 Values-based Persuasion

Sometimes the best way to persuade people is to appeal to their values. What do they need? What do they consider important? What do they believe? If you can show that your ideas, products, or services are in line with their values, you stand a much better chance of showing them the benefits of making a decision in your favor.
