This is the homepage of the journal Poe Studies, which in itself contains little information on the author. The journal may be of some interest to students. Its table of contents paints the picture of a fashionable publication. Contains such essays as "Poe's Women: A Feminist Poe?" and "Poe's Political Identity: The Mummy Unswathed."

An amusing site with many links to inside and outside sites related to Poe and his works.
 
Precisely Poe
A site whose purpose it is "to provide factual information about the life and writings of Edgar Allan Poe," these pages feature the text of Poe's famous obituary in the New York Tribune and, of course, a photograph of his grave. The site's author is especially concerned with setting Poe's biographical record straight.
