Lab Activity 31: Writing a Research Essay

Objective To practice documenting sources for a research essay.

Step 1: For each of the following sources, write a Works Cited entry in MLA format according to the guidelines in Chapter 31. An example has been done for you.

Example:
A television program, titled "Jesse James," shown on the PBS show American Experience on February 6, 2006.

		1. A book by Nicholas J. Karolides, Margaret Bald, and Dawn B. Sova, titled 120 Banned Books: Censorship Histories of World Literature, published by Facts on File in New York in 2005. To create paragraphs in your essay response, type <p> at the beginning of the paragraph, and </p> at the end.
