Lab Activity 47: Apostrophes
 
Objective To practice recognizing the correct use of apostrophes and using apostrophes correctly.

Step 1: In each item below, write a sentence as instructed. You may refer to Chapter 47.

Example:
Write a sentence using the contraction for you would.
In the military, you'd learn to follow orders carefully.
Example:
Write a sentence using the word lights to show possession or ownership.
These lights' strength makes the room too bright.

1. Although I proudly volunteered for the Navy, I did'nt realize what Id have to go through in boot camp. [Hint]
