One semester of developmental writing is not enough to ensure students' success throughout the remainder of their college classes; thus, the second book in the series—Resources for Writers—picks up where Sentence Resources for Writers leaves off. The third book in the series, College Writing Resources, takes students through the essay-writing process while still offering them sentence-level improvement opportunities. Sentence Resources for Writers leads students toward paragraph and sentence-level mastery while Resources for Writers focuses on paragraph development, and College Writing Resources offers extensive instruction and practice in writing essays.
