<P>MyLiteratureLab is designed to help you read, interpret, and write about literature. The resources and tools in this section of the site focus on the literary elements. Choose "Diagnostics" to assess your knowledge of the elements. For definitions you don't know, you will be referred to the appropriate section of the "Glossary of Literary Terms." To further your understanding of the elements, click on "Interactive Readings," literary selections that include hyperlinks to questions that model close reading.
<P>Other areas of MyLiteratureLab may be more suitable to your needs. For example, "Longman Lectures" offers insights into the process of reading, interpreting, and writing about literature. And "Writing and Research" offers useful advice and tools that will guide you, step-by-step, through the process of writing a critical essay.
