How can the Longman English Tutors help me?

Our tutors, who are qualified college composition instructors, can help you:

1. Find the help you need on MyLitLab and teach you how to get the most out of the site. No matter what area of writing and research you may be struggling with, our tutors can point you to resources on MyLitLab that will help you practice and master key skills.
2. Review your papers. Our tutors will review your paper for organization, argument, and style, giving you the chance to revise it before submitting—and helping you to get a better grade! Your paper will be evaluated and returned to you within one business day. (Please note: tutors cannot check your paper for factual accuracy or do line-editing.)

How do I register for the Tutor Center?

Though you have registered for MyLitLab, you will need to register with our Tutor Center to access their services. It’s easy. To register, you can use either the access code that came in your MyLitLab Student Access Kit (if you still have that) or you can use the username/password you created when registering for MyLitLab. Then register for the Tutor Center via the Web or phone:

• On the Web: www.ablongman.com/tutorcenter. Click the “Registration” tab and follow instructions. If you have trouble, please call the number below.
• By phone: 1-888-777-0463. (5 pm to midnight, EST, Sun –Thurs or as listed on website.)

Longman’s Tutor Center is open when your campus center is typically closed—so you can get writing help whenever you need it!

FALL and SPRING hours:
Sunday – Thursday, 5pm – midnight EST

SUMMER hours:
Sunday – Wednesday, 5pm – midnight EST
