Self-Assessment: Study Strategies
Tests and exams in college may seem very overwhelming since they generally cover a great deal of information from various sources. One way to make sure you will keep up with assignments, understand lectures, and do well on tests is to make sure your daily study strategies are effective. Do you think that your everyday study strategies effective? Take the self-assessment quiz below and then reflect upon your responses. How can you improve your strategies so that you become a more effective and efficient learner?
Directions: Below are ten study strategies you can incorporate into your general study routine. Reflect upon each and decide whether or not you use each strategy. If not, reflect upon those strategies that you currently do not use and consider if they would be helpful to you. If such strategies seem helpful, try them out and determine if they work for you.
