Student Resources
Welcome to the Student Resources section of the Companion Website to accompany Writing in the Sciences. This section of the site contains resources and features that students will find useful. Self-correcting questions allow students to test their understanding of each chapter in Part I.* Online exercises help students further focus on rhetorical conventions and apply the organization and audience adaptation skills discussed in the book. Additional writing activities and assignments complement those in the text while also taking advantage of the interactive environment of the World Wide Web; this section of the site includes URLs to important sites, providing students with the opportunity to actively explore Web sites mentioned in the book. Part II of this section of the site includes URLs to important sites, providing students with the opportunity to actively explore Web sites mentioned in the book. Additional URLs provide supplemental resources to refine and improve students' writing skills.
*The author wishes to thank former Teaching Assistant Kathleen Angione for her assistance in developing the prototypes of many of the T/F questions on this Web site.
