Write a 5-6 page biographical essay about a famous person who, in one way or another, had a major influence on you at some point in your life. You will convey some essential aspect of your subject's personality as it relates (or related) to you, based on your reaction to the subject. Your essay will need to include thoughtful plotting, vivid description, scene, dialogue, and—most importantly—character development.

Who is the subject of your essay?
Why have you chosen to write about this person? How is he/she important to you?
How are you going to make the subject of your essay matter to your audience? (Be specific.)
What element(s) of your subject's personality do you want to convey to your audience?
What do you need to know about your subject that you don't know already?
