Harry Finestone is Professor Emeritus, California State University at Northridge. Michael Shugrue is Professor Emeritus at the College of State Island, CUNY and author/editor of more than a dozen books and a hundred articles on 18th century English literature and teaching and learning English. He earned his Ph.D. at Duke University and served as Director of English Programs for the Modern Language Association and as Professor and Dean at CUNY. He has consulted on more than 150 college and university campuses. In retirement, he teaches "The Great Restaurants of New York" in the Culinary Arts Program of the New School University. Marc DiPaolo is a former journalist and a college instructor who has taught World Literature, American Romanticism, and college writing courses at Drew University, Kean University, and Fairleigh Dickinson University, all in New Jersey (1999 - present). He spent two years as a general assignment news reporter at the Staten Island Advance (1997 - 1999) and worked for two years as a freelance reporter for New Jersey TechNews (1999 - 2001), a monthly periodical focusing on business and technology issues. The native of Staten Island, New York, earned his B.A. in literature at the State University of New York at Geneseo (1997), his M.A. in literature at The College of Staten Island (1999), and an M.Phil at Drew University (2001). He is an A.B.D. and a Ph.D. candidate at Drew and his areas of specialization include medieval studies, Jane Austen and 18th Century British literature, Gothic fiction, journalism, film, and Italian literature. Christian Matuschek is a German theologian whose photographic work has gained attention in Germany and the United States. Sharp in detail and rich in color, Matuschek's photos are particularly thoughtful and at times whimsical, conveying unique and often surprising insights.
