Companion Websites are electronic resources for both the instructor and the student. They accompany specific textbooks and are free of charge. This section, for the student, provides additional resources related to the textbook Bridging the Gap. Included in this section are the following:
Chapter Summaries: A general description of each chapter.
Web Resources: Annotated links to Web sites that provide additional information on the topic of each chapter.
Internet Exercises: Reading skills exercises with related Internet links on chapter topics.
Chapter Quizzes: Readings from college level textbooks that span a variety of disciplines including excerpts from history, biology, earth science, world cultures, and humanities. Interactive quizzes in multiple choice, true/false, fill-in-the-blank, or matching format accompany each chapter.
Reader's Journal: Readings from the textbook are presented along with questions that allow readers to submit written responses directly through the Web site.
