Welcome students!

This on-line companion is an electronic resource to accompany the textbook "Breaking Through: College Reading" and is free of charge. Included in this section are the following:

Introduction: Under the "Introduction" pull-down menu you will find a general description of each chapter.

Quizzes: Under the "Quizzes" section you will find passages and interactive multiple choice, true/false, fill-in-the-blank, or matching questions to accompany each chapter. The passages have been taken from college level textbooks from a variety of disciplines including biology, history, literature, and psychology.

Internet Activities: Each chapter is accompanied by several Internet links with related reading skills activities to practice the concepts set forth in each chapter.

Web Resources: Under the “Web Resources” pull-down menu you will find links to web sites that relate to the material in the chapter.
